Greene County Transit Greene County Transit is the public bus service within Greene County, New York. Mountain routes are Wed for Hunter/Tannersville and Fri for Windham.

Public transportation for everyone of all ages - whether visiting, working or living in Greene County. All other routes are available weekdays, Mon-Fri. Hours listed are for the Call Center, Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm.

Service Update โ€“ Effective March 23, 2026

Greene County Transit will be making route adjustments until further notice beginning Monday, March 23, 2026.

Route 700/701 will be ๏ผฃ๏ผก๏ผฎ๏ผฃ๏ผฅ๏ผฌ๏ผฌ๏ผฅ๏ผค until further notice.
This route currently serves the Catskill, Jefferson Heights, Leeds, Cairo, Coxsackie, and Athens areas.
