Porter Moving Company is seeking drivers. This role would entail driving 26' box trucks to make deliveries of household furniture and fitness equipment and to assist on move jobs.

We are also looking for crews who only do delivery routes. The schedule for delivery routes is Tuesday-Friday. These are 10-14 hour days which average 6 hours of drive time.

Family-like environment with some flexibility in schedule.

Pay is based on experience, and tips are very common on deliveries and moves.

Small, local company now hiring a qualified candidate to fill a position in our Logistics department. This candidate must be self-motivated and detail-oriented. As a small and growing company, this candidate must also be versatile enough to engage the immediate operational needs of the company, as well as to develop the skills necessary to grow in these and new areas.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Managing email, phone calls, and mail correspondence

- Support bookkeeping procedures for the company using QuickBooks software

- Update databases for deliveries and other business operations

- Maintaining an organized filing system of electronic and physical documents

- Managing inventory of freight

- Scheduling deliveries and estimates

- Managing DOT Compliance

- Assist colleagues when the opportunity arises

Qualified Candidates must have the following:

- Experience with QuickBooks

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and other computer-based applications

- Excellent customer service

- Ability to multitask

- Attention to detail

- Problem solving skills

Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday from 8-5.

Local logistics company looking for a trustworthy individual to perform tasks in our warehouse during the morning hours. Schedule is 4AM-12PM Tuesday-Saturday. The end time would be flexible.

- Fueling 3-4 straight trucks

- Performing inspection reports for each truck

- Load and secure 2-3 delivery routes

- Bail cardboard

- Unload and put away freight

Porter Moving Company is looking for a full-time office assistant to help with day to day clerical and administrative duties.

This position involves office organization, receiving trucks, scheduling delivery routes, scanning, data entry and other daily tasks. Basic knowledge of Quickbooks and Microsoft preferred.

We are a locally owned company that has been in business for seven years. This job has the option of flexible hours to the right candidate but is generally around 8-5. Wage will be determined based on experience level.
