I've talked to so many people who planned their own Disney or cruise vacation and came back exhausted. Not because the trip was bad, but because they carried every decision, every detail, every "did I do this right?" the entire time. That's not how it should feel.

When I plan a vacation, I handle the logistics so you can actually be present. The dining reservations, the port day decisions, the "what if" planning - that's my job. Your job is to show up and enjoy it.

Nassau gets a bad rep. Folks say the following: "It's unsafe, not worth leaving the ship, aggressive vendors the second you walk off the gangway."

And look, I'm not going to tell you those concerns are completely made up. But I am going to tell you it's more nuanced than that. I've been there & I walked around independently. And with the right game plan, it's actually a really enjoyable port day.

My first cruise. The Disney Wish. And I will never be the same. 🌊✨

I came aboard not knowing what to expect, and what I found was a whole different level of magic that I didn't even know was possible. Disney has always had my heart, but something about being out on the open water surrounded by the most intentional, warm, and genuine cast member interactions I've experienced in what feels like years - it just hit differently. Every meal was an event. Every moment felt luxurious. Every smile felt real. ❤️

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Disney doesn't just do things, they do things RIGHT. The food, the service, the details, the people. There was an abundance of it all, and I soaked up every single second I could.

To Goofy Getaways and Disney, thank you from the bottom of my full, grateful heart. Thank you for the opportunity to keep living my dreams, for making space for experiences like this one, and for reminding me why I do what I do every single day.

This trip was my W - my reminder of Why I started, what I'm Working towards, and the incredible things that happen when you trust the process and keep showing up. That's my WISH, and somehow, it came true. 🌟

Rotational Dining on the Disney Wish: The Feature That Will Change How You Think About Cruise Dining

If you’ve never sailed Disney Cruise Line before, let me explain one of the most magical (and underrated) parts of the experience, rotational dining.

Here’s how it works: each night, you rotate through a different themed restaurant. On the Disney Wish, I dined at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, the sophisticated 1923, and the action-packed Worlds of Marvel. Three completely different atmospheres, menus, and entertainment experiences, all included in your cruise fare.

But here’s the part that makes rotational dining the best: your wait staff rotates with you. The same servers follow you from restaurant to restaurant throughout your sailing. By night two, they already know your name. They remember that you ordered a Diet Coke without asking. They know who at your table is celebrating something special. They check in like they genuinely care, because they do.

And it doesn’t stop at dinner. When I stopped by a quick service spot or wandered through the lunch buffet, my servers would spot me across the room and wave. Some came over to chat. That kind of personal connection is rare on any vacation, let alone on a massive cruise ship.

It’s one of those details that sounds small until you experience it, and then you realize it’s the whole vibe of Disney Cruise Line.

Before you even head to check-in, look for the luggage attendants outside! Hand off your bags and they’ll meet you on the ship — one less thing to carry!

🔐 Security Line
Have your barcode ready before you get in line — this keeps things moving quickly! You may even get to head in early depending on your arrival time.

🛳️ Boarding Check-In
Next stop: check-in! Once you’re done, grab a seat in the waiting area. Boarding groups are called in order, so just relax and soak in the excitement building around you!
