Interesting news about the cost of Sterling Silver for those who use it for wire wrapping.
"Please someone tell me I’m crazy- I’ve been ordering from Rio for 15 years- since when have they charged $25 an oz on silver for fabrication? Silver is sitting at less than $70 an oz- but to just get round sterling wire it’s $95 an oz.

*Edit to add* - just got off the phone with Rio and confirmed they increased the fabrication charge somewhere in November or maybe October. I’m looking through my orders and indeed - my first November order was $25 per oz on fabrication for silver- over spot, each item is different obviously- sheet, wire pattern etc- but they more than doubled fabrication prices. They used to hover around the $10-12 - Ive been so slammed with holiday orders- I didn’t notice until today when an oz of sterling 1/2 hard round wire is almost $100"

So we have generated a number for a win on the keyring. The number was 184. The number that was closest to that without going over is 167.
