Centralia Balloon Fest is right around the corner!
SCT will once again be providing shuttle service for Balloon Fest.
Buses will pick up at City Hope Church and SCT Downtown at 100 N. Locust St.

Only a few more days until Balloon Fest! The park opens at 3:00pm on Friday, August 21, & Saturday, August 22. 🙌 We do expect some traffic so plan on getting there early. Balloons arrive in the park between 5-5:30pm.

South Central Transit is offering shuttle services from their location in Historic Downtown Centralia and City Hope Church. It is one dollar per person each way. The dollar it takes to ride the shuttle gets donated back into community. 💖

The shuttles start running at 3pm, with the last one leaving the park just after 10pm.

Shuttles will NOT be available on Sunday, Family Fun Day.

🍎🚌 Back-to-School is Almost Here! 🚌🍎
The new school year is fast approaching, and Student Transportation Registration for the 2026–2027 school year begins Monday, August 3, 2026!

To register, a parent or guardian must complete a registration form at one of our local South Central Transit Offices.
Once we have determined that transportation services can be provided for your student, we will contact you with your scheduled pick-up times. Pass payments will be accepted after scheduling has been confirmed.

Happy Friday! Perry County Sycamore shuttle riders, don't forget that, effective 8/3/26, Pinckneyville Dollar General stop is being removed from the Sycamore route.
Deviated stops to this location can be scheduled in advance by calling our scheduling team at 800-660-7433.
