Yesterday marked the anniversary of the ultimate sacrifice made by Army PFC Ken W. Leisten, a Soldier of 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry Regiment (2-162 INF), who gave his life on July 28, 2004, while serving in Taji, Iraq.

At Blue Cord Logistics, we are more than a trucking company. Our name represents the Infantry Blue Cord and our commitment to never forget those who gave everything.

Today, we pause to remember PFC Ken W. Leisten and all of the fallen Soldiers of 2-162 INF. Though the years pass, their courage, sacrifice, and the bonds of brotherhood remain with us.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Business can change fast. After adding our third truck, we unexpectedly lost the Chehalis route and had to part ways with Payton.

We're back to two trucks—Jordan is handling Home Depot Aberdeen, and I'm running general freight throughout the region.

One day at a time. We adapt, keep moving forward, and stay focused on what comes next.

Made a quick stop in Seabrook, WA today to visit my Uncle Homer's memorial at the Parker Sunset Amphitheater.

It wasn't sunset, but the view was still amazing. More importantly, it was a reminder that a life of service, integrity, and dedication leaves a legacy that lasts long after we're gone.

Proud to call him my Uncle. 🇺🇸❤️
