We are looking for a hard-working, dependable individual for a 6 to 8-week contract to help organize, order, and tidy up our 800,000+ sq. ft. Logistics Center. You can work whatever shift you prefer, 40 hours per week. Looking for someone to start ASAP.

As this is a contract role, you will be brought on through our 3rd party employment partner.

2nd Shift Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 2:30pm - 10:30pm

Starting Pay:
$16.10/Hr - $18.30/Hr (based on shift and experience)

What You'll Be Doing as a Forklift Operator:
Operate an Electric Powered Stand-up Forklift in a safe, efficient manner to complete work orders quickly to meet performance goals
Use an onboard computer and scanner to receive and log work tasks accurately
Follow the set processes and procedures to meet performance expectations for time and accuracy
Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure proper material movement
Inspect each pallet and product to confirm the proper amount, items, brands, and lot codes
Keep a neat, orderly, and safe work area free of debris, spills, and hazards
Actively participate in all assigned training programs
Help with special projects and assignments as needed
What It Takes to Be Successful On Our Team:
Experienced - at least 6 months - in the operation of a stand-up forklift in a high-volume warehouse/distribution center
Able to read and follow work assignments provided via the onboard computer
Commitment to teamwork and able to work with a diverse group without conflict with limited direct supervision
Able to successfully complete pre-employment forklift skills assessment
Capable of meeting the physical requirements for the role: standing for the entire shift, walking long distances, and lifting up to 50 lbs with regularity

• Answer phone calls and provide the necessary information or transfer to the appropriate party
• Greet drivers, complete logs and documents for inbound and outbound shipments, and provide accurate information about timing and scheduling
• Troubleshoot issues with incomplete and unfinished loads to maintain schedule
• Communicate with operations team to ensure proper prioritization of workflow
• Provide updates and regular reports to customer, operations leaders, quality team, and transportation partners
• Identify options for moving incomplete loads, late shipments, and priority loads with external, third party brokers
• Assist drivers with identifying local resources such as food options, convenient stores, etc. to utilize while they wait for loading/unloading to complete
• Input data and information into transportation system, Excel, and other systems on the PC
• Navigate the internet efficiently to troubleshoot issues and find solutions quickly
• Maintain a positive attitude and organized workflow despite high volume of contact points and changing priorities

Starting Pay:
$15 - $18.30/Hr; which means if you work the full schedule with no missed time, you will earn over $800 every two weeks!
