If you can catch a ride on a larger ship, lake wave heights a few miles offshore could be upwards of 20 feet for Lake Superior and Lake Michigan tomorrow, October 16th, 2026. Gale warnings are in effect for the combination of wind and wave heights, making boating nearly impossible for small and medium craft.

The gales of October will be roaring with purpose for your Friday.
