Today’s stretcher transport came with a reminder about perspective.
When we arrived at the nursing facility, a CNA asked us, “Why aren’t y’all wearing your uniforms?” She was expecting an ambulance crew and simply didn’t realize we were a private stretcher transport company.
I could’ve taken offense to the question — but instead, I chose to give context instead of emotion. And honestly, that applies to life far beyond transportation.
Sometimes people aren’t being rude or disrespectful… they just don’t have the full picture yet.
At Express Med, professionalism, patience, and compassion matter just as much as the transport itself.

Like many entrepreneurs, my journey into medical transportation started from personal experience.
Watching my parents navigate medical challenges together opened my eyes to a much bigger issue — so many seniors and families struggle with reliable, compassionate transportation during some of life’s hardest moments.
That’s when I adopted a simple mindset: “See a problem, solve a problem.”
What started as a personal realization became a mission to serve others with dignity, compassion, and care through Express Med.
