SUPER excited! Our upgrade bid to get a 'Seriously Suite' Rockstar Suite on our upcoming Virgin Voyages cruise was accepted, so we'll be cruising in style in just a couple short weeks!

Virgin's Rockstar Suites are a HUGE upgrade from your standard cruise cabin. Fully stocked mini-bar (first round is FREE), access to the private Richard's Rooftop area on the top deck, priority dining/excursion reservations, and access to a 'Rockstar Agent', essentially a concierge available to assist with reservations and making the most out of the voyage.

We've sailed Virgin before, and it's one of our favorite cruise lines. Adults only, all restaurants included in the base cruise price, free WiFi, GREAT entertainment (not just the song/dance shows you get on most other cruise lines), and just the overall vibe can't be beat. It's not a wild party ship, but there are parties when you want to party, and plenty of chill spaces to relax and just enjoy the cruise.

So Royal Caribbean and Sandals/Beaches just entered into a partnership with Royal Caribbean Group investing about $3 billion for 50% equity in Sandals/Beaches. The deal is expected to close in early 2027.

What does this mean for cruisers/resort-goers? Well so far, nothing really. But what it could mean is crossover loyalty programs, pre/post-cruise stays at all-inclusive resorts, and.. who knows what else. We'll post more if there are any updates, but any changes are probably quite a ways off at this point.
