We've got a golden helmet!

Thanks to YOU, the City of Charlottesville won the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation's inaugural Bike-Friendly City challenge! Mayor Wade received THE golden helmet this week to commemorate this achievement.

Thank you to everyone who took the time during Bike Month to log their rides. We couldn't have done it without you - literally!

Even though this contest was a celebration for Bike Month back in May, the challenge doesn't stop there! We encourage everyone to continue exploring alternative modes of transportation for a more sustainable and resilient Charlottesville. Whether you're biking to work several times a week or just once in a while, you're making a difference for our community.
