In need of a passport? Attend the Chattanooga Congressional Passport Fair on Wednesday, April 29 and Thursday, April 30. This event is by appointment only, with up to five attendees per time slot. Make sure you bring:
✔️Unsigned passport application
✔️Proof of U.S. Citizenship (plus photocopy)
✔️Valid ID (plus photocopy)
✔️Passport photo
✔️Check or money order payable to the U.S. Department of State

Some isolated incidents took place in parts of Mexico following a federal law enforcement operation in Jalisco — a state more than 2,000 km from the Riviera Maya. A ripple effect reached Quintana Roo in the form of a small number of localized disturbances.

Here is what Governor Mara Lezama has officially confirmed:

✈️ All four international airports are open and running normally. Zero flight cancellations. Any delays you may hear about are due to U.S. weather — nothing more.

🏨 The Cancún Hotel Zone is open. The rumors claiming otherwise are completely false.

🚌 The Maya Train, ADO buses, and all tourism services are operating without interruption.

👮 Over 10,000 security personnel from the Army, National Guard, Navy, and local forces are deployed across the state.

✅ No civilian injuries have been reported.

🔎 What was confirmed: a handful of vehicle fires in scattered locations and minor property damage — none in tourist areas or near hotels. Nine people have been arrested.
