WE ARE OPEN! Starting today we have opened for the season. Our spring hours will be M-F 8:30-5:00. We will start launching as soon as we can and the weather cooperates. If everything goes smoothly we should start launching the week of April 28th.

Update to our status, We are back on regular power and we do have internet back. With that being said as I sit here and type the lights are flickering. We are experiencing high winds and with all of the trees damaged and weakened by the storm I would not rule out losing it again. Most of the "City" of Cheboygan has power restored but the further you get away from town the less power has been restored. Our employees homes are still without power with no restoration timeline. We will return to "normal" operations and start cleanup and prepping for launch season once we have our homes taken care of. Thank you!

Hello everyone, as you've most likely heard about the devastation in Northern Michigan right now,I just want to let you know our back up generator is working and providing heat to our building. We are unsure of how long it will be before power is restored to the area. We have no other services, phone, internet etc at this time. Cell service is speratic at best. I check on the marina a few times a day, but please understand that we are also without power,water and services at our homes. I will try to post updates here when I can, but it may be a few weeks or longer before we are operating again. This is not just repairing some lines and poles. It will be a major rebuild of our power grid in Northern Michigan!

The DNR informed us that the Cheboygan Lock will be closing for the season at 5:00pm on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

We will be closing early on Thursday July 4th. We will be open 8:30 -12:00. We will resume normal hours on Friday July 5th. Be safe and HAPPY 4Th EVERYONE!!

We are back! We officially opened the marina on the 1st of April. Everyone is back, Nigel, Josh, Patrick and myself. We look forward to the start of launch season. Long term weather looks pretty good and the mild winter didn't give us much ice to worry about. Right now we are looking to start launching around the 17th of April. If you haven't talked with us about a launch date please shoot me an email or give us a call. We look forward to seeing everyone! Here is an old photo of the Cheboygan river.

We have added 2 NEW members to the CVM team! Patrick and Josh. Patrick helped us on the Nortech project back in 2020 and has returned to help with anything he can around the marina. Josh will be filing the void in the service technician area. He is new to boats but is a life long gear head. Now we have 4 full time members to take care of all of our customers and boats! We are very excited for the season! If you are in the area be sure to stop in and meet Patrick and Josh.

Well we had a good week. Mother nature wasn't very nice but we managed to start launching boats. We are in full swing and will launch boats as the weather permits. We have about 10 floor boats left to get in the water, then we will start on rack boats. Please reach out if you have not given us a launch date for your boat yet. I will do my best to call/email if we are getting close to launching your boat. Next week is going to start out rainy but end with sun and warm temps!
