Evelyn Ortiz is our Estimator, and she’s the first touchpoint for a lot of our clients. Whether she’s breaking down pricing, answering shipping questions, or getting a new customer set up, she brings patience, clarity, and a genuine love for helping people.

She’s fast, detail-oriented, and always looking out for what makes the most sense for each job, because to Evelyn, it’s not just about quoting freight, it’s about setting up our clients to succeed.

Outside of work, she’s all about family, dance, and good food. She’s a choreographer, a baking enthusiast, and probably planning her next trip to Florida as we speak.

We’re proud to share that Protrade Logistics has officially made the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S., ranking #519 overall and #19 in logistics and transportation.

We first made the Inc. Regionals: Midwest list earlier this year, and we set our sights on something bigger. We're elated to see our hard work recognized!

This started as a family business with a few laptops and a handful of clients who believed in us. What’s helped us grow is consistency, communication, and care.

Every team needs a steady hand. For us, that’s Jose.

As President & CEO, Jose is the reason it runs the way it does: calm under pressure, built on trust, and focused on doing things right.

He started the company in the middle of a pandemic with nothing but grit, vision, and a phone that never stopped ringing. Since then, he’s led the team with the same approach he had on day one: stay honest, stay sharp, and always show up for the people who count on us.

He’s the one clients turn to for reassurance, the team turns to for direction, and who somehow still makes time to talk family, soccer, and long-term goals.

Jose built Protrade to be different. And he’s the reason it is.

Fun. Freight. For a cause!

On Monday, we hit the course with crate pong, co****le, and a whole lot of Protrade energy at the Chicago Randy.

Every point played meant a donation to the Randy Smith Memorial Foundation, and we had a blast watching the industry show up and show out.

Cindy’s our Logistics Manager, and she’s basically the person keeping 60+ shipments from turning into 60+ problems.

She’s up early checking orders before she even gets to the office (coffee in hand, of course), and she’s the reason clients feel calm when everything around them is chaos.

She loves digging into the details, spotting show info most people miss, and making sure everything runs right on time.

Outside of work? Total bookworm. Homebody. Loves a good history read and Florida sunshine.

Basically, Cindy runs the show before it even starts!
