❤️🚚 It’s another Move Good, Do Good Thursday!

This week, our $100 is headed to Mujeres Latinas en Acción, an incredible organization supporting survivors, building leaders, and amplifying the voices of Latinas through bilingual, culturally grounded services.

Basically, they’re out there empowering women, strengthening families, and making Chicago a better place.

Meanwhile, we’re over here trying to figure out how to get a sectional sofa around a 90-degree staircase.

Different skill sets. Same city. Same goal: helping people move forward. ❤️

We’re proud to throw a Benjamin their way and shine a little light on the awesome work they do.

Over the weekend, we participated in our 2nd Barks & Bowls event at Avondale Bowl, raising money for Chicago Canine Rescue! ❤️🐾

It was an awesome time for an awesome cause—and we even got a fancy custom bowling scoresheet with the Move-tastic! logo on it!

Which was great because now we have an official, professionally branded document proving that we are absolutely terrible at bowling. 🎳

Turns out being able to carry a sleeper sofa up three flights does NOT translate into rolling a 12-pound ball in a straight line.
Who knew?!

Huge thanks to everyone involved for putting on such a great event. We may need some work on our bowling game, but when it comes to supporting dogs, we roll STRIKES every time. 🐶🎳❤️

🚚🦖 Happy Tuesday Crewsday!

Today we’re sitting down with Ivan, one of our awesome Move Leaders, and a man with some surprisingly controversial opinions.

🌮 What food does everyone love that you think is overrated?

Tacos. Apparently Ivan’s family eats tacos ALL THE TIME, and the man has officially reached maximum taco capacity. Somewhere, a tortilla just shed a tear.

🦖 Movie you’ve watched an embarrassing number of times?

Jurassic Park. Understandable. Dinosaurs escape. People make terrible decisions. Jeff Goldblum unbuttons his shirt. Cinema.

✈️ Free plane ticket anywhere tonight—where are you going?

Venice. 🇮🇹 Excellent choice. Although as professional movers, all those canals and stairs give us anxiety just thinking about it.

🎈 What useless superhero power would you want?

The ability to create helium. We said useless, Ivan. This man could single-handedly dominate the children’s birthday party industry.

So there you have it: Move Leader, taco skeptic, dinosaur enthusiast, future Venetian tourist, and potentially the world’s first helium-based superhero.

🏃🍩 Today marks the 14th running of the Bucktown 5K!

If you missed it this year, no sweat. Well... technically no sweat is exactly what you missed.

Just slap it on the calendar for next year because here are our Top 5 Reasons to Run the Bucktown 5K:

☕🍸 One of the best things about living in Chicago? There’s a festival for EVERYTHING.

Street fest? Yep. Taco fest? Obviously. And today’s celebration of questionable decision-making:

ESPRESSO MARTINI FEST! ☕🍸

And get this—you can sample FIFTEEN different espresso martinis.

FIFTEEN.

So basically you’ll be drunk AND extremely alert about it.

What’s the worst that could happen after 15 cocktails packed with booze and caffeine?!
Actually... don’t answer that.

We’d say we’ll see you there, but after martini #12, if we see you, we probably won’t remember it.
