I have been fortunate to explore around Lisbon many times over the past year, but for this trip to Portugal I really wanted to explore a new area. With the Algarve being a little over 2 hours from Lisbon, it was a no brainer for me to come here. Who wouldn't want to be beachside with gorgeous cliffs as the backdrop??

📍Lagos - tips before you go 👇🏼
🌊 Camilo beach is one of the top rated beaches in the area, but due to construction the stairs down were closed. This didn’t stop people from hopping the fence and trekking down!
🌊 We decided to walk the path to Dona Ana beach which was about a 5-10 minute walk (note: I was COVERED in little bugs on this beach, but no one else seemed to have them 😂)
🥾You can walk along the path and view all the stunning cliffs - see some of the stunning shots in the slides!
🛶 If you’re up for it, you can rent kayaks and explore the cliffs by water!

I just so happened to be on Pinterest one day and saw a picture of a pool on the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast and immediately said "I NEED TO GO THERE!". Flash forward 3 months and I was sitting at a restaurant my first night in Positano drinking a glass of wine looking at the sunsetting over the Mediterranean. You could say it was one of the most blissful moments I have had in my life.

This trip started with a friend and I NEEDING to see Harry Styles in Paris, so naturally we had to figure out where else we wanted to go.

Follow me along as I hop around Paris, Nice, Lake Como, Tuscany, and London (in 10 days - I do suggest MUCH longer but I had to make do)! PS: Tuscany will be covered in a separate blog post.

Tuscany may take the running for my favorite place in Italy... sorry Positano!

It just so happened that I needed to find a place to go in Europe for three days before my flight home and my friend (the one who lives in Italy) said her and her parents were going to Tuscany for those same exact dates - call it fate. So, after our girls trip ended in Lake Como, I trained down to Florence to begin this part of my adventure. So follow me as I drink (and eat) my way through Tuscany!
