Truly endless things to do and see in Iceland but here are a few favorites to check out for your first trip ➡️



📍 Kirkjufell

STUNNING mountain on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Very short hike to this view from the parking

📍Fjöruhúsið Cafe

A must stop cliff side cafe also on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula

📍 Kerið Crater

East hike around the crater with great views the whole way

📍 Sólheimajökull Glacier

You can either walk up to the view point of the actual glacier trail (as shown), or can hike the glacier with appropriate equipment

📍 Seljalandsfoss Waterfall

One of our favorite waterfalls in Iceland

📍 Black Sand Beach, Vik

Such a unique, otherworldly setting. Our toddler played in the sand here for hours

📍 Westman Islands

Ferry out to the Westman Islands to see puffins (my favorite!!)

📍 Hallgrímskirkja Church, Reykjavik

View from the observation deck is incredible

📍 Gullfoss Waterfall

You will get wet and battle crowds, but it was worth it x100

📍 Strokkur Geyser

Iceland's most active geyser, shooting water nearly 100 ft into the air

📍 Efstidalur II

In the midst of planning 5 trips to Mexico/ Caribbean this Fall and winter and we are getting so excited to get away for ours next month in Punta Cana!

There is a certain ease, luxury, and peace with these types of trips it's hard to find anywhere else. And breaking up the winter months is a huge plus.

Dear daughters,

One day you might ask why I quit a job that I loved. The answer is simple, I wanted more time with you.

I also wanted you to see me take a chance on myself. To build a business from the ground up and live a life with more freedom.

I hope I can set an example for you that you don't need to choose being ambitious and being present. You can create your own version of success. And that's what i'm doing.

GIRLS TRIP TO PORTLAND, MAINE ITINERARY

Three days spent in the rain wasn't what we originally planned for (sailing, biking, picnics, we missed you), but Portland was such a fun city to cozy up in during the Nor 'Easter! Here's what we did:

Day 1: drinks and light lunch at Novare Res Bier Cafe, relaxing in our apartment rental in Old Port, dinner at Central Provisions and drinks at CUTIES and Blyth & Burrows

Day 2: spent the morning sleeping in, reading, puzzles and coffee 🤌🏼. Lunch at Eventide Oyster Co., shopping on Exchange Street, dinner at Street & Co. , drinks at ViA VECCHiA and karaoke at East Enders (the best time was had)

Day 3: lunch at Dry Dock, a (covered) boat tour of Casco Bay, shopping in West End, dinner at Scales Restaurant, drinks at Silver Street By Taj, game night at our place

Day 4: brunch at Beckys Diner before heading home!

It was absolutely a foodie trip and exceeded all our expectations! Where should we go next year for our girls trip??
