Finally finished!
I know tattoos aren’t everyone’s thing, but this one is especially meaningful to me. After a few sessions, it’s officially complete, and I wanted to share it because there’s a lot more meaning behind it than just a cool design. Pretty much everything in it represents a piece of my life, my family, my daughter, and the business I’ve worked so hard to build.
The road and skyline represent Mitch’s Transportation Service and the countless miles I’ve spent on the road building this business, but they also represent where I started, where I come from, and the journey that got me here. Mitch’s Transportation Service has become so much more to me than just a business. I genuinely love what I do, and one of the best parts has been all of the people I’ve met along the way. So many clients have started out as complete strangers and, over the years, have become familiar faces and even friends. I’ve gotten to be a small part of so many people’s vacations, weddings, celebrations, business trips, and everyday lives. The friendships and relationships I’ve made through this company mean just as much to me as the business itself, and that’s something I wanted this tattoo to represent too.
The airplane represents all the airport trips that have become such a big part of Mitch’s Transportation Service, but it also represents something I’ve always loved personally — aviation. I’ve always had a fascination with airplanes and flying. I’m also including a picture from when I had the opportunity to sit copilot in my buddy’s plane, which is still one of those experiences I’ll never forget. ✈️
The broken clock is set to 2:00, and that probably has some of the most personal meaning in the entire tattoo. The clock being broken represents my absolutely crazy schedule and the fact that, with this business, there really isn’t such a thing as a normal clock or a normal workday 😂. Anyone who knows me or has used Mitch’s Transportation Service knows my days can start ridiculously early — sometimes around 2:00 AM — and can end just about whenever. But 2:00 also has a completely different and much more important meaning to me because my daughter Addison was born around 2:00 PM. So while that broken clock represents the crazy hours, early mornings, late nights, and work that goes into Mitch’s Transportation Service, it also represents one of the most important moments of my life
The banner across the clock has I · IX · MMXXV — January 9, 2025, the day Addison was born. ❤️
So that clock connects two huge parts of my life: the work I put in for my business and the reason I work so hard in the first place — my family.
At the end of the day, Mitch’s Transportation Service isn’t just a business to me. It represents a lot of early mornings, late nights, missed sleep, thousands of miles, some stressful days 😂, and a whole lot of hard work. But everything I’m building is ultimately for my family and especially for my daughter.
Now I get to carry a reminder of all of it with me every day.
Family. Business. The road. Aviation. The people I’ve met along the way. And most importantly, Addison. ❤️✈️
And if you actually made it all the way to the bottom and read this entire thing, I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read what all of this means to me. ❤️
Couldn’t be happier with how it all came together!
