Craig Bryant posted this shot from the museum over the weekend with the snow-capped mountains in the distance! After a few rain storms blew through last week, we finally have some snow making for a great backdrop when taking photos at the museum. We're open Wednesday through Saturday this week 10am-4pm, Sunday we're closed for Christmas Day.

Mark your calendars, we are proud to announce our next Hangar Talk Flying Event on Saturday, November 5th, will feature the Grumman F8F Bearcat!

⭐Hangar Talk is a monthly event that features brief presentations focused on the major achievements and little-known wonders of aviation history. We like to think of it as a "live magazine" in which, with each presentation, we "turn the page" to a new and interesting subject related to the people, places, and events of aviation heritage. Watch this page for more information for each upcoming issue.
⭐Museum doors will open at 9:00am on this day
⭐Hangar Talk begins at 10:30am and lasts until 12:00pm
⭐At 12:15pm, we'll be hosting our "Flying Demo" featuring the Grumman F8F-2 'Bearcat'.
⭐Living Historian "re-enactors" and Museum Guides will be on hand, as well as access to the B-17 "Flying Fortress", activities for younger visitors, Coffee & Smoothies, Tacos, and Ice Cream available for all. We'll be hosting an "Opportunity Drawing" of an outstanding piece of framed aviation art (proceeds go to Museum Education Programs) and a raffle drawing for our members in attendance for a flight in the North American SNJ-5 "Texan."
⭐Regular Admission rates are in effect and Museum Members always get in free. The Museum is open until 4:00pm.

We're just under three weeks away from our next Hangar Talk Flying Event featuring the F4U Corsair on October 8th! And it's going to be a whirlwind of activity coming up for the museum as we have aircraft traveling to several airshows over the next few weeks. You never know what you might see at the museum if you visit during the next month as we might have lots of aircraft being worked on and firing up! We're open Wednesday through Sunday, 10am-4pm.

Temperatures are going to be pretty warm this Saturday for our Hangar Talk event here at the Planes of Fame Air Museum, so make sure you bring some water with you, slop on the sunscreen, and bring a hat! Keep in the shade or hangars until it's time for the flight demo. Don't forget, we have a wonderful presentation in our air-conditioned hangar starting at 10:30am before the flight!
