We are overjoyed to announce the completion of the Park Rebirth Master Plan. It is a powerful vision that will guide the future of this historic place for generations to come. This plan represents more than development; it represents hope, stewardship, and a shared commitment to honoring the birthplace of Tennessee’s favorite son.
Over the past year, our community has spoken. Through public input and collaboration, countless voices helped shape a plan that looks ahead while respecting the deep historical significance of this nationally important site. This is thoughtful planning for the future, ensuring that what we build today will inspire tomorrow.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the many stakeholders who made their voices heard and to Kimley-Horn Design for their leadership, expertise, and dedication in bringing this master plan to life.
While this milestone is worth celebrating, we know the journey is far from over. There is still important work ahead, and we deeply appreciate the patience, flexibility, and continued support of our community as we move forward with the rebirth of this remarkable place.
This process has been guided by David Crockett’s own timeless words:
“Be sure you’re right, then go ahead!”
