Yatz Solutions debut event was a big hit! We engaged with license holders. We heard and spoke with loads of patients. We caught a buzz from all the potential for the upcoming adult use bill.

As a packaging supplier in a new industry we know that we are a small fish in a big pond. However, we continue to show our value add, and receive responses that encourage us. We keep showing up with persistence. While going home with a continued sense of ex*****on.

The response from events like this goes to show we HAVE to continue showing up day in and day out.

To all the folks we got to engage with. THANK YOU! Giving us even a moment of your time makes us so grateful.

As Yatz would always say. “Bye for now”

On the twenty-first episode of The Cannabis Supply Chain Podcast, we interview Andrew DeAngelo a figure within our space I believe many of us are familiar with. I cannot express how much it excites me to speak with someone like Andrew. His experience within the cannabis space legally and illegally spans almost longer than I have been alive. He and his brother are behind legalization efforts, some of the first medical dispensaries, testing labs, packaging providers, and non-profit prisoner relief efforts. I knew going into our interview I had much to soak up.

We spoke about his story and journey to get where he is now. We spoke about the h**p industry and what it needs to find traction. (Hint hint, investment, and a lot of it.) We spoke about the cannabis movement and the importance of Last Prisoner Project. We also spoke about a few other topics for shorter periods of time.

My conversation with Andrew felt important. I am not entirely sure why. Maybe it’s his ability to give himself to you during the interview. Maybe it was the topics combined with the experience. Maybe I walked away soaking up more than I noticed during the conversation. Regardless I hope you all enjoy listening as much as I enjoy recording them.

I am also excited to meet him and you in person at OCHBS in two weeks! Come find Yatz Solutions at booth 413.

On the 19th and 20th episode of The Cannabis Supply Chain Podcast, I got the pleasure of interviewing two of Massachusett's finest. Devin Alexander of Rolling Relief and Jason Reposa of Good Feels. Both gentlemen have wonderful stories, and I am grateful to share a small part of their journeys.

Devin is one of those people you want to win. His story, his hustle, and the way he executes his business are all things that resonate with me. His love for supporting small businesses, his excitement towards getting involved with local politics, and his reason for being here are some of what makes you care about Devin’s work. If you are in the greater Boston area and need some fire cannabis products Devin’s team is there to get you speedy delivery.

Jason is also one of those people you meet who is so genuine and cares so much, you just want to know his story and you want to find ways to support him. The lengths he went to figure out what kind of product form made the most sense to him feels the same as what a great chef would do to learn about the dishes he intends to serve. Additionally, Jason has a vision that I think we can all support. Having a Good Feels at your favorite dive bar, in your favorite city, with your favorite pals. I also admire how much Jason freely uses his tech background to support his local MA cannabis community.

These gentlemen, I think, do a great job of representing their home state and perspective towns. They both exemplify what a small business should be doing with their time and resources.

If you need some Rolling Relief, tell them Dante sent you. If you need some Good Feels just ask yourself, will it infuse?

The 18th episode of The Cannabis Supply Chain Podcast is an important one. I was able to invite some friends from my previous career in dispensary work to my home and consume cannabis while we discussed our work as budtenders.

and Aaron Ellis are excellent representations of the dispensary we worked at together. They are passionate, kind, intelligent, informed, and genuinely people’s people. Not to mention their love for the plant. A great reflection of the environment we all worked together in.

We take almost an hour and a half to discuss a few topics. How we got into the cannabis space, what keeps us in the area, the patients of Ohio, the disconnect between gov’t & people, our relationship to the products, and what we want to see out of the future.

Shout out to all the retail folks in cannabis making it happen! Our industry has so many disconnects, stigmas, and obstacles to overcome to exist the way we see it. There are TONS of budtenders throughout our country, I hope we did a good job representing them! This episode is for you. Thank you for all the incredibly difficult work that you do. We see you. We appreciate you. We value you.

I hope you enjoy listening to this episode as much as we enjoyed recording it.

Smoke w**d every day!

On the 15th and 16th episodes of The Cannabis Supply Chain Podcast, we interview incredibly intelligent people on topics I am admittedly lacking deep education in.

In these two interviews, my eyes are opened to two insightful careers that are markedly some of the most important and influential to our day-to-day within the cannabis space. We interviewed Toni Conn of Green Bliss Accounting and State Representative Juanita Brent of District 22 in Cleveland.

Their contributions to our space are essential for us to move forward and keep gaining more traction to break stigmas. Transparency is one of the top priorities in our industry. Maintaining that transparency in accounting and as a politician representing cannabis is essential.

Juanita does a great job of constantly updating her constituents on what she does throughout the day, week, month, or year. Additionally painting a vivid image of what is necessary for us as a community to see the change we constantly talk about.

Toni jumps right into the conversation explaining to me what some of the essential things are to pay attention to from her standpoint. As well as her thoughts as to how our future in cannabis might play out from the accounting perspective.

I am constantly learning and intrigued by the guests that come on to this podcast. These two interviews are some of my favorites because they are a great educator for me. Please enjoy listening to these two episodes as much as I enjoyed recording them.

Episodes 13 and 14 are out!

I’ve got to be transparent with y’all on this one. Christopher Robinson, Paul F. Vandergrift IV, and I all had to pivot days leading up to the release of these episodes because ALL 3 of us parted ways with our previous full-time employers.

A reminder of how unpredictable our industry can be. However, like anything in cannabis, there is always a bright side. Sometimes you just shovel some s**t and embrace it.

We all have parted ways with employers while embracing the talents we have and the lessons we've gained, to find ourselves new opportunities. That being said. Listen to these episodes for what they are worth. Two incredibly talented, smart, and knowledgeable gentlemen. Spitting game from their perspective. When we recorded these episodes both of them provided insight into a world we are learning where we fit into.

Paul F. Vandergrift IV runs Raleigh Records (music and content) as well as coaches boxing at Knuckle Up Raleigh in his home state of North Carolina. He would like to use his talents to break into marketing or operations.

Christopher Robinson a designer. Having won cannabis competitions at The Ohio State University, his alma mater. Chris is focused on launching his personally designed blunt and joint tips over the summer through his brand Rollex Goods. While staying open to different careers within the cannabis space and beyond.

I can’t express how much I enjoyed conversing with these two people and getting to know them a bit more. They both have their own skill sets and talents they can bring to a team. I hope you all enjoy listening to our conversations as much as I enjoyed recording them.

Episodes 11 and 12 are out! Today! THE POTHEAD HOLIDAY. Four Twenty, 4/20, 4-twenty, four-20, or 4-2o!

That day in yester years where you would save up some coin get fronted an extra bit, or if you were lucky scored some smoke and a brownie (maybe even some hash). Met up with all your people and fried your face off somewhere huddled together in a group (or calmed your ADHD and anxiety as I later learned).

I am very excited to release our 4/20 episode with Galenas. I was able to score an interview with Geoffrey Korff and Christine DeJesus the CEO and Director of Cultivation. When you hear what these two have to say, it is understandable why their team, cultivars, and Galena’s company gets all the love they do both in Ohio and Michigan.

I am glad the release of these two interviews was able to happen the way they are. If I were in my younger years, this is the kind of conversation I would be wanting to listen to while I and my people baked out someone’s car or bathroom.

I hope you enjoy listening to these interviews as much as I enjoy recording them. Geoff and Christine are great people doing awesome things. Give their brand some love. The wizards compel you!

I am and we are all lucky to be able to recognize this holiday freely. Don’t hesitate to be at a courthouse or send some money to well-deserving organizations. We are still locking people in a cell for this plant.

It is important for us to share the work of these .

Hearing a account of what it takes to any job or career that contributes to the helps us gain .

Perspective on what we are doing right, what brought individuals here, why we stay here, and what we think the can look like, amongst other things. Hearing these two individuals’ perspectives was very enjoyable.

Jason Kabbes's passion for his team drives home why Ohio Clean Leaf’s flower is one of my favorites in our program and how he's been able to stay in the industry going on 13 years now. Lenny Berry's to give people what he and they want displays why has been a successful event. Not mention all of the different spaces he has his hands in.

Beyond what you hear on the podcast, I just genuinely enjoy conversing with you all. Finding out about some of Lenny and I’s shared past in and not believing Jason’s background was a true background on our zoom call are gems that make this process worth being obsessive over.

Nothing happens overnight and no one gets anywhere alone.

I hope you enjoy these episodes as much as I enjoyed recording them.

I’m so excited to release these podcasts!

My vision is to the cannabis supply chain.

I love learning. I love philosophy. I love shooting the s**t.

These two releasing this Friday the 27th are very dear to me!

Codi Peterson is one of those humble down to earth folks. Once you talk with him for a few minutes you feel comfortable and yourself. Then he just drops knowledge like it’s nothing. What he and The Cannigma are doing for our is huge!

Not to mention we met and recorded this episode in the literal middle of the first floor at MJBiz Con last year. I can’t wait for you all to hear what Codi has to say in that short but ever so sweet 30 minute interview.

The episode in this release is also very dear to me. Why? Because I am finally interviewing a FRIEND! Drew Evans and I started working together at the same dispensary twoish years ago. We have both branched off and found our own launch pads to push ourselves. Drew’s business Holistic Hammock is one of those rad booths you spot at a boring or another mundane show and stop to chat because of the vibes. Then stay because of your achy body and a good experience.

From my . The only way I can get better is to surround myself with people who uplift me, educate me, and call me out when I’m wrong.

I am so grateful for this platform at The Cannabis Supply Chain Podcast. It allows me to do that and find those people.

I hope you all enjoy listening as much as I enjoy putting them .
