Night 2 in Cincinnati, and Baseball Trip 2026 comes to a close with a 5-3 CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN!

A much more exciting game than last night, and a good way to end yet another fun trip!

Beautiful night at the GAB. Looks like we’ll get another home team victory, which in this case is unfortunate. The Cubs bullpen ruined a decent start by Imanaga, but it hardly mattered since they forgot to bring their bats anyway.
Oh well, back at it tomorrow.

Some different views at the game tonight, following a great experience at Evan Williams distillery in downtown Louisville and a few stops along the Louisville Slugger Walk of Fame.

Stay tuned, because we’ll be doing our first live broadcast of the 2026 baseball trip before this game ends!

Problem resolved!

Another distillery tour (Lux Row in Bardstown) preceded tonight’s game in beautiful downtown Louisville.

The game is half over and we’ve already seen five home runs by the home team Bats!

Tonight is “Nothing Night.” No promotions, no music, no games between innings. It’s kinda nice, actually.

Club level seats tonight. We’ll be downstairs with the riff-raff tomorrow. 😆

After a Monday off-day, and a side trip to tour the James E. Pepper distillery this afternoon, it’s back to baseball!

The home-team Lexington Legends lead by three after eight, hoping to close out the visiting York Revolution.

It’s a simple but comfortable and friendly ballpark that leans into the city’s horse racing roots. Nice night and a lovely sunset.

Finally a home team win!
Despite giving up only one hit, the Smokies trailed most of the game, only to come back for a 5-4 victory.

A 3-hour rain delay didn’t dampen our spirits. We had good company (thanks Paul & Peggy!) and had nowhere else to be anyway.

Having a great time at the terrific new(ish) ballpark in Knoxville!
We’ve suffered two rainouts on this trip already, but it’s a beautiful night here.
Met up with friends Peggy and Paul, sampled some good beers, saw a National Guard Blackhawk flyover, and are anticipating a spectacular July 4th fireworks show after the game!
HAPPY 250th, AMERICA!

One of the best things about our baseball trips is getting to explore great cities all over the country. Tonight we’re in Nashville listening to a fantastic band in the iconic Legend’s Corner. Good times!
