Position Summary:
Safely transport goods to Fred Meyer stores and customers of the Distribution Trucking Company. Role model and demonstrate the Company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of self and others.

Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Essential Job Functions:
Model "Customer 1st" behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
Drive truck to deliver goods to stores and other customers
Adhere to corporate and departmental safety standards
Inspect truck for defects before, during, and after trips; submit report indicating truck condition
Check refrigeration trailer for malfunctions
Weigh loads
Unload merchandise at store
Pick up goods at vendors (back hauls)
Yard Hostling at the Distribution Center
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications:
Less than high school education plus three years active driving experience, with two years doubles experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
Minimum 21 years of age (CDL requirement)
Ability to pass drug test
Must meet Federal Department of Transportation physical requirements
Ability to work weekends and overtime on a regular basis
Ability to travel independently on a regular basis
Ability to work any shift(s)
Familiarity with trucking terms and processes
Ability to continue education
Ability to operate a tractor, refrigeration units, dollies, and yard tractor
Valid commercial driver's license with doubles, triples, and hazardous materials endorsements
Fred Meyer lift truck certification/license

Desired Previous Job Experience:
Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure
High school diploma/GED
Two years triples experience
Two years accident-free commercial driving
Five years with no major traffic citations
Two years retail delivery experience
Forklift operation experience
Experience with on-board computers

Position Summary:
Responsible for filling retail store orders in an accurate, productive and safe manner while operating industrial equipment. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.

Essential Job Functions:
Operate industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Execute job duties within established engineered labor standards.
Complete store order assignments according to preferred warehouse management system methods.
Follow voice commands and/or read order to ascertain correct case number and quantity of merchandise is selected.
Place selected cases on pallet and arrange orderly to minimize product damage for safe delivery to retail stores.
Wrap completed store orders, and deliver to shipping dock.
Comply with all department and company policies and procedures including but not limited to safety and attendance.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
Must be at least age 18
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
Ability to work weekends, nights, overtime and holidays on a regular basis
Ability to walk, stand, bend, push/pull for a minimum of 8 hours with a sense of urgency
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
Must be able to work in ambient or refrigerated environment for long periods of time.
