What a beautiful river scene under perfect sunny weather 9/16/26, with crystal-clear, glass like water reflecting the bright blue sky at the Port of Clarkston. American Cruise Lines passenger boat, the American Encore, and Snake River Adventure boats line the 7th Street dock, welcoming visitors to the Lewis-Clark Valley. Anglers in the background add to the scenery, creating a lively yet peaceful vacation-like feeling.

The Port of Clarkston welcomed its first ever Electric Semi Truck to the DC Speed Chargers on the Clarkston Waterfront. PACCAR was in the LC Valley to put their production model EV semi through performance testing driving the Lewiston Grade and were spotted charging at the Port prior to their trip back to Mount Vernon, WA.

The semi is a Peterbilt 579EV

Class 8, GCWR 82,000lbs
Range: 100-200 miles (up to 200 miles with 560 kWh battery)
Powertrain: PACCAR ePowertrain, up to 605 hp, 1,850 ft-lbs. torque
Features: 13-inch SmartDisplay, 15-inch driver display, ePTO options, pedestrian detection, best in class LED lighting.

The Port of Clarkston will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of the 4th of July Holiday.

The Port of Clarkston will be CLOSED on Friday, June 19th, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth.

The Port of Clarkston will be performing asphalt maintenance and striping at the east end of the waterfront Thursday June 4, 2026 – Friday June 5, 2026.

Crack-filling of the Granite Lake Park Trail will occur on June 4th 6:00am – 3:00pm (highlighted Green)
Striping of asphalt will occur Friday June 5th 6:00am – 3:00pm (highlighted Red)


The Port will do its best to reopen trails and parking areas as soon as possible and hope this does not cause an inconvenience to tenants or park users.
