A much appreciated and very kind post. Always fun to host this event for the North Iowa Children's Museum and happy to continue be the “landing spot” for the pigs! Get your pigs bought and come join the fun on opening day, September 26th!

Before the pigs take flight, it’s time to celebrate the incredible place that gives them somewhere to land!

Plain Ol' Pumpkins has hosted When Pigs Fly every year—from our very first flight—and we truly could not ask for more generous or welcoming partners. Their beautifully maintained farm provides the perfect setting for a morning of planes, pigs, pumpkins and family fun.

🐷✈️ LOOK WHAT JUST DROPPED… PIG DROP TICKETS! ✈️🐷

We’re squealing with excitement—our brand-new When Pigs Fly website is LIVE, and tickets are officially on sale for the 5th Annual When Pigs Fly Fundraiser benefiting the North Iowa Children’s Museum!

Join us for a morning filled with planes, pigs, pumpkins, prizes, and plenty of laughter:
📅 Saturday, September 26, 2026
⏰ 9:00–11:00 a.m.
🐷 Pig Drop at 10:00 a.m.
📍 Plain Ol' Pumpkins in Clear Lake

At 10:00 a.m., hundreds of numbered foam pigs will take flight before making a very quick trip back down! The pigs will be dropped from an airplane toward a giant target—and the three pigs landing closest to the center win amazing prizes!

🎟️ Tickets are $25 each or 3 for $60
🐽 Only 400 foam pigs are available
🏆 The grand prize includes more than $500 in gift cards to North Iowa businesses
🎃 Admission to Plain Ol’ Pumpkins is included with your ticket

During checkout, you can also choose your favorite Celebrity Kiss-a-Pig contestant. The full value of your Pig Drop purchase will count toward that celebrity’s fundraising total at no additional cost—or you can cast an extra vote with a separate donation!

After the drop, stick around to see which celebrity earns the honor of kissing the pig, visit the Piglet Pucker Station, and celebrate five years of flying pigs with special anniversary raffles!

Every ticket purchased and every vote cast helps us build a permanent children’s museum where North Iowa’s children can explore, imagine, discover, and learn through hands-on play.

Sticking with our corn maze tradition… draw a picture, plot it into cross-planted corn, and play a life sized game of connect the dots! No GPS. Just Old Fashioned Fun!

In true Clear Lake fashion, we are rocking n rolling towards the 2026 pumpkin season and looking forward to a happy Holly-Ween🎃🎸🎵👓

We were missing one from our crew to a softball tourney, but the boys and us managed between games. 2026 Pumpkin planting is in the books. Our 8th season is underway!!!
