Self care essentials, topicals, tinctures, and the wonderful opportunity to spend some time together in person building trust, sharing stories, and giving and taking care of each other.

One of the most significant reasons I run my own operation is so I can uphold the caliber of integrity, craftsmanship, leadership and traditions that I expect.

I expect more from us because I expect more for us. We all deserve better care!

There are a lot of trade offs when you decide to carve your own path, often with bare necessities.
One thing never compromised is The Practice.

This farm and practice is always starting at seed, growing ingredients for every recipe I create, informed by decades of intimacy with Plants, *AND* People

Herbalists in practice who are tending land and people with skill, integrity and transparency are here in service to LIFE. We don’t replicate sh*tty systems, we don’t compromise our ethics, and we are community care providers dependent on reciprocity.

This is nutrition, not merchandise.
This is a Farm and therapeutic practice, not a product line.

I have always been a teacher and access includes education. This is foundational to MF. While working for several years as logistics - equipment - curriculum manager and lead instructor for Mad Science of southern MA and RI, I gained so much experience about interagency, multigenerational, community based education.

From there I was part of the programming AND farm team for a working, regenerative ag, educational farm in Vermont.

For 28 years I have been humbled and very proud to be
An Educator. Teachers are amazing, aren't they? Learning never ends, thankfully!

As I continue to carve my own 11 year trail of lots of specialized skills all centering Land and Families, Learning and Healing poured into Meraki Farmacy, and informed by traveling all over the state, some things continue to be crystal clear:

We the People need and want

- third spaces to gather : it's not work, church, school, or commerce centered

- to have hands on experience, in person, with Plants, facilitated by someone who LIVES the practice

- more options for herbal education than the focus on foraging and remedy making, for a well rounded and deeply rooted education that holds the wider implications of how we relate to Land, and each other

- Communities of Practice ---- where a diverse group is co-created by shared values of sharing skills, solving problems, working cooperatively

🌱 THIS SUNDAY MAY 17 I will be at Aletta’s (!💚!) from 10 - 2 ish, mostly with dried herbs, tea blends, and some Live Plants from the farm, Boo Boo Balm, and some tinctures for our hearts, minds, bodies and souls.

Even if you don’t need a restock yet, come by and say hi, grab some food and check out the amazing greenhouse!
