Our office and the Runway will remain CLOSED today, Monday, January 26, in line with City directives. The ice buildup is substantial on the runway and all paved surfaces, creating a continued safety concern. Please continue to check posted NOTAMS for updates and follow the The City of Cleburne page for current city conditions, safety tips, and more. We hope all of our tenants, guests, and business partners are staying safe and warm. We will see you soon!

Out of an abundance of caution and with public and employee safety as our top priority, 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧. 𝟐𝟒 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧. 𝟐𝟓 due to the anticipated wintry weather.

That includes the Transfer Station, Library, Museums, Booker T. Washington Recreation Center, Splash Station, Cleburne Conference Center, Cleburne Regional Airport, and City/County Transportation. (Some of these facilities are normally closed on Sundays.)

City crews will continue pre-treating bridges and major roadways, placing public works, police, fire and utility staff on standby, and monitoring power and water infrastructure.

The Police station lobby (302 W. Henderson St.) will be available as a temporary warming location with restroom access and water. Temporary shelters are also available at www.findhelp.org. A local list of temporary shelters is also posted on the Johnson County, TX Emergency Management page.

Phew! That’s a lot of information, but we want to keep you in the know. City crews will continue monitoring conditions throughout the weekend, and any additional changes to operations will be communicated accordingly.

Cleburne Regional Airport will have adjusted hours of operation for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, January 19th. The FBO will be open from 8am to 4pm. Self Serve Jet A & 100LL will remail available 24/7.

Cleburne Fire Department notified the community of a controlled burn scheduled this week to the west of town. We had an incredible view of the activity from the Airport on Tuesday. Our operations attendant Kevin grabbed this beautiful photo of a Hawker 800XP departing to the North while the fire burned.

We would like to recognize the teamwork and partnership we share within the The City of Cleburne. Our partners at the Street Department have been helping us complete a much-needed pavement improvement project here at the Airport. By working together, we have improved the quality of pavement between our T-Hangars.

This maintenance is vital and ensures safe and enjoyable experiences for all of our guests and patrons who regularly use the taxi lanes.

Thank you to every single street worker who has given it their all throughout this project!

Happy Veteran's Day! Thank you to all the men and women who have served our nation. We wish you a peaceful day of recognition.

Our FBO hours will be adjusted for the holiday. We will be open from 8am to 4pm, with normal business resuming Wednesday, November 12. Thank you for your business!

𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞! Due to the predicted weather, the movie night originally scheduled at the airport will now be held at the Cleburne Conference Center. The fun and fright remain the same, though! Come out on Friday, Oct. 24 for a viewing of "Hocus Pocus 2." Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for activities. The movie will start at 7 p.m. Let's see who has the best costume. 👻
