Recently, I've had a few families of firefighters travel to Walt Disney World or Disney Cruise Line. Initially, these guys aren't thrilled about getting dragged to Disney, and the wives think it'll be their only chance to make it happen. But you know who's reaching out to me to book another Disney trip? Yep. The firefighters. 👨‍🚒

This makes a ton of sense, though. What better way for someone who works a stressful, traumatic job to recover than spending time with family in a place that pays attention to what makes your vacation a truly relaxing experience? First responders need that escape from the real world more than anyone, and booking them trips where I know they’ll be looked after with the best customer service is a privilege.

Be Our Guest sounds fantastic in theory, but the dining hall is huge, and you *might* catch a glimpse of Beast during lunch or dinner. No Belle. No table visits.

Definitely not worth 2 dining credits for that.

Instead, see all your favorite princesses at Akershus. One dining credit gets you a delicious breakfast where the characters come right to your table.

Wanna skip the airport baggage claim and head straight to the parks?

Guests staying at Disney’s All-Star resorts, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, or Pop Century are eligible for the Airport Luggage Transfer through American, JetBlue, Southwest, and United.

How it works:
✅ Register up to 30 days (and at least 24 hours) before your flight, using your resort and flight confirmation numbers
✅ Check your bags with your airline as usual
✅ Skip baggage claim in Orlando and go straight to Walt Disney World
✅ Pick up your bags at Luggage Assistance/Bell Services at your resort within about 4 hours of landing, or have them brought to your room

Heading home? Drop your bags at your resort's Bell Services 24 to 4 hours before your flight, then skip the airline check-in line.
