It’s an important distinction!

🚑 Ambulances are designed for emergencies and situations where medical care or monitoring may be needed during transportation.

🚐 NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) is for eligible passengers who need transportation to or from medical appointments or other approved healthcare services but don’t require emergency medical care during the trip.

Remember: If you’re experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
