It is with great regret and sadness that I must tell you that Too Tall Tomas, aka "Tom" was put down in November, 2022. Fortunately Tom was able to sire hundreds of beautiful mule c**ts over the course of his eleven season breeding career. He will be greatly missed.

Owing to this loss, we have selected a very nice young jack to continue our breeding program. "Jackson" is a four year old Catalonian style jack with many great attributes. With more growth to come, he currently stands just under 14 hands tall. He is trim, stout, has a nice hip, fantastic bone and beautiful head. In 2023 we plan to breed a few select mares to Jackson as we train him for both live cover and artificial insemination.

I took a couple of my older mules to Frisco, CO to do sleigh rides for Two Below Zero. The horse shoer came to work on the feet of some of Two Below's mules. He promptly got stuck just as we were getting ready to hitch and go to work. The truck and trailer were right in the middle of the way. No other choice but to hook Molly and Myrtle to the rig and pull him 200 yards uphill to the asphalt. Molly and Myrtle got it done, as usual. Not bad for 27 year old mules. Tom's 2022 Breeding Season begins March 1st and will run thru June 30th, 2022. Tom is a proven producer of long legged, trim bodied, athletic mules with great dispositions. He crosses well with gaited, quarter, thoroughbred, draft and warmblood mares.

We can either breed onsite at our location near Grand Junction, CO or ship fresh chilled semen nationwide. Our 2022 fees are as follows: $450 breed fee, add $10 per night for onsite mare care or $200 for semen shipping.

Mammoth Jack Too Tall Tomas, aka Tom is once again standing at stud in Western Colorado. Our breeding season starts March 1st and will run through June 30th, 2022. Breeding slots in April and May tend to fill up quickly so plan ahead and book early.

My son and I celebrated Memorial Day with an epic ride on two mules sired by Tom. We saw a coyote, a hen turkey with a clutch of little ones, a whole flock of grouse and a bear at close range. We watched the bear eat grass for a full five minutes before he finally woke up and ran off. What a day!!!!!
