2012 Reynoso Estate-Grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley
"The 2012 Reynoso Estate Cabernet is deep garnet in color, verging on
purple. The nose shows mocha-laced black cherry, kirsch, mineral and
violets, all the distinctive aromas of Cabernet Sauvignon, along with
the slightest hint of cedar pine, bell pepper and dried herb. The
palate has more cherry and berry, along with a strong iron component
that makes the palate unique. Firm tannins hint at a long life ahead
in the cellar, and the wine remains impeccably balanced through a
long, fruit driven finish. Enjoy now and for many years to come."

Winemaker Notes: The 2011 is racy and bone dry with aromas of lime rind, and wet stone sprinkled with fresh herbs and a hint of sour cream. Medium-bodied and delicate there are yet intense notes of freshly-cut limes, lemon curd, ginger root accompanied by hints of dried apricot and cantaloupe.
