Class A CDL Driver – Hopper / Dry Van / Tanker

Farmers Freight Company, a locally owned and family-run trucking operation based near Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is looking for a dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our team.

We haul grain, feed ingredients, fertilizer, general freight, and liquid fertilizer throughout the Midwest. Most routes stay within states bordering Iowa, with occasional longer runs available.

Position Details:
• Freight types: Hopper, Dry Van, and Tanker
• Region: Regional Midwest
• Home time: Usually daily if based near Cedar Rapids
• Some driver-assist/pallet jack work
• 50–70 hours per week

Pay & Benefits:
• Per-mile pay plus stop, detention, and drop & hook pay
• Hourly pay for accessorial and shop work
• Portion of health insurance premium paid
• Retirement plan with company match
• Paid vacation
• Consistent, year-round freight

Requirements:
• Valid Iowa Class A CDL and driver’s license
• U.S. citizen; able to speak and read English
• Safe driving record and clean, well-kept truck
• At least 21 years old and able to travel interstate
• Must pass pre-employment screening
• Insurance must approve driving record before interview

Preferred:
• Verified driving experience
• Experience pulling hopper or working with farm/ag commodities
