Last Saturdays project. Get the hull sides buffed, polished and waxed so she can be launched. She shines up pretty good for a 20yr old boat, Once she's in the water we will take care of the top. We have been taking care of this one for the last seven years. 7 yrs we must be doing something right😀 Thank you to all of our customers new and old.

Help a Vermont Father and Daughter Rebuild After a Devastating Home Loss

We never imagined we’d find ourselves in this position—but today, we are humbly asking for your help.

My daughter and I are proud Vermonters who have worked hard all our lives. We’ve always tried our best to support ourselves and stay positive through tough times. Recently, our lives were turned upside down when a catastrophic sewer pipe break in our trailer saturated and contaminated all the insulation, wood and all of our belongings, leaving our home uninhabitable. The damage was so extensive that our trailer no longer meets safety standards.

We immediately reached out for assistance, but after an inspection, even local mobile home repair and improvement resources told us they couldn’t provide funding because our trailer’s condition is beyond repair. Despite both of us holding jobs and my daughter attending school, the costs of replacing our entire home are far beyond what we could ever afford alone.

Right now, we’re staying in a temporary hotel returning to our trailer daily to take care of our dogs, but our stay is only covered until December 18. After that, the risk of homelessness is very real for us. We never thought we’d be on the edge like this, but this disaster has left us without options.

It’s deeply difficult to ask for help, especially when we’ve always worked hard and have overcome obstacles on our own. But here we are, reaching out and hoping for the kindness of friends, neighbors, and even strangers who understand that sometimes, life hands out more than anyone can handle alone.

Our immediate goal is to raise $20,000 to replace our unsafe trailer with a used and livable trailer. This will give us and our dogs both safe shelter and the ability to start again in the community we love.

If you are able to donate, any amount—no matter how small—will help. Even if you cannot give, sharing our story would mean the world to us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your compassion and support during this most difficult time.

If you're still looking to drop off, please shoot us a message first for the next 7-10 days. We don't have the space to accommodate anymore until after we get work done at the shop.

We are working as quickly as we can to turn them around while also trying to get all of the marina work done when weather is allowing for it.

Thankful to have this be a "problem", it means that Moonligiht continues to grow. It continues to get closer to being able to work for himself with the growth.. so close!

If you're looking for winter storage.. it is an option for our customers!

We have been working on messaging and emailing customers to confirm for this fall who needs winterization, shrink wrap, and storage. If you haven't heard from us and want to be on the list please do message us here (Please avoid texting Joe, we are going to be pushing for customers to use messenger or email to keep things more organized for 2026)

As a reminder, if you haven't confirmed with us we ask that you DO NOT just drop off your boat. We have a shared parking lot and plan accordingly for who is coming/going. If you just drop off it will throw a wrench in things, and we aren't expecting you so we may not have the filters/fluids needed on hand.

Additionally, as another reminder - this is NOT our full time employment. We have full time employment and this is in addition to those jobs. We have a short window for getting a lot done and greatly appreciate you letting us know prior to dropping off - this allows us to say "Hwy we've got a full lot, could you drop off on this day instead".

While the sun is out and forecast next week looks amazing.. the reality is, we have to start planning for the inevitable.

We are looking to get an idea of who plans to use us for winterization, shrink wrap, and/or storage this fall. When we're purchasing antifreeze by the barrels, oil by the barrel, filters by cases, and what not we want to ensure we plan accordingly!

We have a list of everyone from 2024 that we plan to reach out to, but if you'd like to beat us to it to get on the list don't hesitate!

🚨Please DO NOT drop off your boat if you haven't connected with us via email/FB Messenger or directly with Joe/Monique. Please also let us know if you will not be able to pick up within 1-3 days of completion. The fall is VERY busy for us with late nights so we plan to do our best with getting them in/out as quickly as possible to ensure there is always a spot for the next person to drop off 🚨
