Got a little visit yesterday from a whirlybird, always cool to see different aircraft flying in to visit!

The field conditions are solid and dry now, Rob keeps up on the mowing as usual and ready for anyone who wants to stop on in.

Thanks to Brian LaPerle rolling out the runway and the cooperation of mother nature, we are back open as of today! Looking forward to a great 2025 season and will be planning a fly in late this summer! Don’t let the big X fool ya if you’re flying over and want to stop in, it’s just dead grass!

The runway is closed for a bit due to muddy conditions and large frost heaves/ dips near the sock in the middle. The first 600 or so feet are still decent. Hopefully the weather will cooperate soon and stop freezing/ thawing on a daily basis and we can get it rolled and flattened back out.

It is not NOTAM’d, so if you do have to land, either land short or land long, but avoid the middle.
