As a teacher, I know exactly how precious school breaks are.

We wait months for Fall Break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas vacation, so when it’s finally time to travel, I want every day to count.

If I had to build the perfect Father’s Day gift, it would probably look a lot like this:

🍺 A cold beer in EPCOT
⛳ A morning on the golf course
🚀 A trip to a galaxy far, far away
🎢 A roller coaster that makes Mom question her life choices
🦞 Lobster tail with an ocean view

But the older I get, the more I realize the best part isn’t the beer, the golf, or even the vacation itself.

And honestly… Universal dropping the announcement that Universal Kids officially opens July 1st in Frisco feels perfectly timed for every overstimulated mom currently surviving snack requests, sibling arguments, and hearing “I’m bored” 47 times a day.

This new park is built specifically for younger kids with colorful lands, character meet-and-greets, interactive play areas, family rides, and enough sensory overload (the good kind) to tire them out before bedtime.

On the East Coast, you have Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, classic Disney Halloween, fireworks, parade, trick-or-treating, and that “first Disney Halloween” feeling.

On the West Coast, you have Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure, villains, rare characters, and immersive treat trails that feel completely different from anything in Disney World.
