STEP BY STEP: HOW TO APPLY

GLOBAL ENTRY

1. Visit ttp.dhs.gov and create your own Trusted Traveler Programs account.
2. Complete the Global Entry application and pay the application fee. Use your eligible credit card if its reimbursement benefit is available.
3. Wait for conditional approval, then schedule your interview. Enrollment on Arrival is another option at participating airports after an international trip.
4. Bring your valid passport and the required identification to your interview.
5. Once approved, add your PASSID to the Known Traveler Number field in your airline reservations.

TSA PRECHECK

1. Visit tsa.gov/precheck and choose an authorized enrollment provider.
2. Complete the online application and arrange your enrollment appointment.
3. Bring the required identity and citizenship documents. Complete fingerprinting and pay the fee with your eligible card.
4. Once approved, add your Known Traveler Number to your airline reservations.

I used the application fee credits on my Amex Platinum and United Club Card. You pay with the eligible card, and the reimbursement comes back as a statement credit, subject to the card’s benefit terms.

I am not telling you to open another card. Check whether you already have a travel benefit you are paying for.

Have you ever missed a connecting flight because your layover wasn’t long enough to clear immigration and customs?

U.S. preclearance lets you complete that process BEFORE flying to the States. It’s available at select airports in Canada, Ireland, Aruba, Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the United Arab Emirates.

Without preclearance, you normally clear immigration and customs at your first U.S. airport, even if that isn’t your final destination.

Before booking an international flight home, check WHERE you’ll clear and how much connection time you actually have. Leave time for the entry process and getting to your next gate.

The airline selling you that connection doesn’t mean you have room for delays.

Sandals Negril is absolutely one of my favorite resorts to send travelers who want an adult only vibe with a good mix of party and relaxation.

The planning was a true partnership from the first time we met to talk destinations. Now they get to enjoy Jamaica. One additional touch I was able to add was a birthday dinner for them at one of the best restaurants on the resort!

One thing that I want to do more with this page is share more about myself! Giving viewers and people that have or will work with me more insight of the man behind Elite Travel Adventures.

So let’s take it from the beginning. I’m originally from Philadelphia, and for my childhood, I grew up living with my grandmother, aunt, uncle, and one of my sisters.

On my moms side, I am the oldest child and on my dads side I am the youngest child. In July, I lost my dad to his fight with cancer.

Fun fact: I graduated from Overbrook High School. Will Smith, Wilt Chamberlain, Colman Domingo, and Guion Bluford went there too.
