POV: You run a handyman business so one day you’re fixing things… and the next you’re out doing landscaping and clearing grass in the Colorado heat 😅🌱

But today was a little more special because I got to bring my sidekick with me — my son, fresh off his kindergarten graduation 🎓💪🏼

One of the best parts about running your own business is building something your kids get to see firsthand. Long days, dirty boots, and teaching work ethic one job at a time.

We hauled and delivered 90 bags of mulch throughout the neighborhood and got everything dispersed to the homeowners who ordered. A lot of hard work, but it’s always worth it helping the community and getting yards ready for the season!

Another Airbnb repair wrapped up! A client needed a drywall repair completed ASAP before their next guest check-in, so I switched some things around in the schedule to make it happen. Garage repair completed! 🔨

This customer had rotted framing around their garage. They originally wanted composite, but the cost was extremely high, so I suggested WeatherShield pressure treated lumber for a durable solution at about half the price.

✔️ Replaced inside trim
✔️ Replaced outside trim
✔️ Installed new weather seal

Another successful upgrade today! 🔧💡

I replaced the existing light housing and installed new LED lights for a brighter, more energy-efficient setup. I also installed a brand new doorbell chime box to get everything working properly again, and removed an old DIRECTV satellite that was no longer in use to clean things up.

• Installed a new weather seal on the front door to keep the drafts out
• Added a GHT valve to a garage hose bib so the homeowner could get their freezer back in place
