Here Comes the Bus Update - I am currently in the process of testing the system to ensure it is working properly. My children are scanning on and off of two separate buses. Synovia and I are monitoring they system to ensure it is working properly. Early next week, we will choose a few buses from different schools and have all riders scan so that we can monitor again for a few days and look for any potential problems. After that test, we should be able to get up and running.

Watson AM Stop Times: We are sorry for the communication errors regarding Watson AM Stop Times. We are in the process of having a list of AM Times by Stop sent to all Watson students' families. W have also forwarded a copy of this information to the school and will provide a copy to your student if they ride the bus this afternoon. AM Pick up times will remain as they were (for instance, if your students' pick up time on Monday was at 0630, it will be at 0630 tomorrow morning) and will not be five minutes LATER until Monday, August 28.

Attention Watson Jr. High Parents and Students...Watson AM Routes will be adjusted to pick up five minutes LATER starting tomorrow, Thursday, August 24, 2017. The reason for this change is that the buses are arriving to Watson too early. This should have buses arriving at Watson at 7:05 AM. It has also been brought to my attention that there are concerns about the time buses are leaving Watson in the afternoon. I will ensure that we communicate the appropriate time for our drivers to leave the school to begin their PM Routes. Thank you - Eric Lance, Operations Manager

Here Comes the Bus...as many of you are aware; Here Comes the Bus is not active. I am working with Synovia to get it up and running as quickly as possible. I want to ensure that there are no errors in the system so we are taking the time now to ensure that the system has all of the information that it needs. I have been informed that many of you are having difficulty accessing the Here Comes the Bus App. I am in the process of resolving this issue with Synovia Solutions. To our Summer School parents/guardians who were recently affected by the pick up/drop off time change at King Elementary - I have just discovered that you were not contacted by the Transportation Department to be made aware of this change. In the future, we will ensure that you are notified, in person or by phone, by a Bus Driver or Transportation Department Personnel. Thank you.
