The MOAPT Nominations Committee is accepting nominations for the following positions on the MOAPT Board of Directions up for election at our 2026 conference:

1) Director --- Regions 1, 3, 4, 5 & 6: 3-year terms
2) Director at Large/East Area: 1-year term

This year, we here at MOAPT are working with local Springfield tourist attractions to obtain discounts for conference attendees and their families for use during free time. Our hope is that, during periods where conference activities are not being held, our attendees and their families can enjoy what the Springfield area has to offer.

Additional information about discounts will be provided to registered attendees via email as the conference draws closer; however, we wanted to get the word out that, if you would like to bring your family with you this year for a mini-vacation, there are going to be several discounts available. Family members do not need to register for the conference unless they plan to attend official conference events/activities.

The Region 5 School Bus Safety Competition was held at Neosho School District on March 7th, with 27 drivers competing. Enjoy these photos from the event!

REMINDER - Spring Regional Meetings Registration is OPEN!!!

Meetings are scheduled at the following locations:

March 25 - Miller High School, Miller, MO
March 26 - Central Office, Poplar Bluff, MO
March 31 - Francis Howell Central Office, O'Fallon, MO
April 23 - Independence School District - Independence, MO

Meeting schedules are identical:

Check-in: 9:30 AM
Program: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM.
Lunch provided for each registered attendee.

Registration fees are as follows:

MOAPT Member: $20.00
Non-Member: $35.00

Registration for the 2026 Missouri State School Bus Safety Competition is now OPEN. The 2026 competition will be hosted by Jackson R-II Schools on Thursday & Friday, June 18th & 19th. The 2026 theme is "NASCAR" (Vroom vroom)!!!
