So lots of you have asked me about our bunk room at the beach condo and how I came up with it and who built them so I decided to make a post for it on my feed. I dreamed them up completely in my head and drew the plans out on paper and my awesome dad, Earl, who is a carpenter, built them just how I wanted them. They can sleep 8 people. Double bed top and bottom: You can see the very first picture is the finished room (we do have a different dresser in there now which is better) but in 2 pics is before anything happened. The room is small and dark and the space wasn’t being used to its potential. The bunks made the room so much larger looking and really utilized the space. My dad did such an amazing job and he killed it with the trim work. I was very set on an extremely high gloss lacquered finish to tie it all together and I’m very happy with it. If anyone wants details, just DM me and I can give you the paint details and if anyone wants my dad‘s information, he has retired, but he still does smaller jobs like this sometimes. The plans are for sale and I’m happy to help anyway I can. I’m so glad it all turned out the way I envisioned.
