Yesterday was all about chasing views, arches, and waterfalls! 🥾💦

We woke up to rain, so naturally we went hunting for a waterfall. Our first stop was Rock Bridge Trail, where we hiked to Creation Falls and checked out Turtleback Arch.

Along the way, we even made a few new critter friends—some a little cuter than others! 🦎🐍

Next up were Chimney Top Rock and Princess Arch, and we wrapped up the day with a short hike to Angel's Window. My legs may disagree, but the scenery made every step worth it! 😅

After hiking the trails, we went underground for a kayaking adventure at Gorge Underground! 🚣‍♀️

At a constant 50°, it was basically nature's air conditioning. After sweating our way through the Gorge, paddling through crystal-clear water inside an old limestone mine felt like the reward we didn't know we needed. 😅

10/10 would recommend if you're tired of being hot and enjoy doing slightly questionable things like kayaking underground. 😂

I am usually more of a beach girl than a hiker, but Red River Gorge is too pretty not to explore. So, yesterday we started by hiking the Laurel Ridge Trail to the Natural Bridge. Then, a little later we hiked the Hidden Arch trail. 🥾🌲The views were unreal, and it’s crazy how many arches are tucked all through this area—there are over 100 to discover!

One thing we have found is that there seems to be a trail for every level of hiker. From short hikes to 11 miles, you can find an adventure that fits your style.

Checked into a cute little cabin yesterday for a quick anniversary getaway to Red River Gorge in Kentucky. ❤️

My husband got to pick the destination this time, so it looks a little different than our last few vacations . We traded rides and crowds for hiking trails, peaceful views, and a couple of days to relax and celebrate another year together.

Not a bad way to spend an anniversary weekend!🥂🌲
