Hi, everyone! Amelia here. If you have not heard the news, Garth's will no longer be conducting auctions. On October 31, my team and I took possession of the Garth's Warehouse in Columbus after signing a contract to conduct the auction of the 60+ year collection of Bruce & Vivalynn Knight from Springfield, Ohio. We have been working diligently to contact other consignors with items in storage at the facility. If we have not yet contacted you, bear with us - it is a long list. Consignors have the option of signing a new contract with my company, or retrieving their items. I know that Garth's ownership and their attorneys are working to finalize payment arrangements with anyone who is yet owed money for prior auctions. If you need more info about either of those things, feel free to email us at [email protected]. Also, I am grateful for the kindness and patience of everyone with whom I have spoken - we are doing our best to help everyone involved.
More information coming soon, but for now, my team is "all hands on deck" for *our* Great Estates auction happening THIS Friday & Saturday at the historic Garth's Barn (now known as The Barn at Stratford) in Delaware. It has ALL of what you would expect from the best estates and collections throughout the Midwest, including:
