Title: Carrier Representative
Job Description:
• Daily operations in dispatch.
• Working with Customers and Carriers to coordinate same-day freight.
• Working with Customers to ensure they are taken care of to the BEST of our ability.
• Working with Carriers, maintaining great communication and happy working relationships.
• Setting up new Customers and Carriers into the system and building long-lasting relationships.
• Monitoring system to ensure loads are up to date, dispatches are correct and complete.
• Work with lane structure to implement the most profitable outcomes.
• Treat problems that will arise with respect and professionalism.
• Ensure everything is taken care of with your team before the end of the day.
• Work with Rick and Vicki to implement new lanes, customers, and operating procedures.
• Track and trace carriers, enter all updates into the system.
• After-hours one week, once a month.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Able to read and interpret transportation documents (BOL’s, lumpers, etc.)
• Good knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules set forth by the FMSCA.
• Able to use a computer, Windows basics, and EKA software (we will train)
• Any new customers you bring on you can make a commission on each load.

Salary is determined based on experience.....
