For a lot of people, trucking offers something that is hard to find in many other careers — stability, strong earning potential, and the ability to build a dependable future for yourself and your family.

At CORE48 Transport, we’re helping people take that first step through our Driving Academy, where individuals can learn the skills needed to earn their CDL in a hands-on training environment alongside experienced professionals who understand the industry and what it takes to succeed on the road.

The goal of the program is simple: prepare drivers to join the CORE48 team. Those who complete the program and pass their test move into regional or OTR driving positions, starting a career that offers independence, opportunity, and reliable income.

In this vital role, you’ll coordinate and schedule dispatch operations to ensure timely, efficient service delivery while maintaining open communication with drivers, team members, and customers. Flexibility is key—this position includes being on call to handle urgent scheduling needs or operational issues, update on-duty dispatchers, and keep management informed of any changes.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license in your state of residence with an acceptable driving record

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in the company’s random drug and alcohol testing program

1–2 years of experience in dispatch operations preferred

Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels, both internally and externally

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines

Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities

Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
