Today, I want to take a moment to recognize someone who means so much to Emily’s Travel — Whitney! ❤️

As a business owner, there are so many things that happen behind the scenes that people never see. And while bookings and sales are certainly worth celebrating, I think it’s just as important to recognize the people who show up, put in the effort, and genuinely care.

And Whitney is one of those people.

Does she drive me crazy sometimes? Absolutely! 😂 But I wouldn’t trade her for anything.

A client asked us for a quote on Monday. By Tuesday, the same trip was more than $700 higher. 😳

That's why we say, "Pricing and availability are subject to change." It sounds like a standard travel disclaimer, but it's simply true.

✈️ We don't control airfare.
🏨 We don't control availability.
📈 Airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, and tour companies can change their rates and inventory at any time.

So when we say, "If you love this, we recommend booking it," we're trying to protect you from paying more later, or losing the room, cabin, or flight you wanted.

Not ready to commit? Ask us about a hold. When the supplier allows it, a hold gives you time to think without watching the price change. Holds usually have a deadline, and some require a deposit, so we'll walk you through how yours works. Even 24 hours can make a difference. ❤️

Happy Tuesday, friends! ☀️🚢

I’m headed to Miami on Sunday, and then I’ll be boarding Virgin Voyages for the VERY FIRST time — and I couldn’t be more excited! ❤️

This trip is a special one for travel agency owners with my host agency. I’ll be spending my days at sea in meetings, learning, connecting, and working — with a little exploring and sunshine mixed in while we’re in Puerto Plata and at the Bimini Beach Club! 🌴

I’ll be out of the office October 11th–17th. I will have my computer with me and will be checking in when I can, but please expect delays in my responses while I’m away.
