We're up to eight fire deaths since Monday in Mississippi. Three separate fire deaths have been confirmed to be heating-related. Another 5 are under investigation by the State Fire Marshal Office. Because many roads are still icy and impassable, responding to some of these fire scenes has been slow. In some areas, fire departments are unable to respond at all. Power has been restored at KCRX today. Airport employees will work tomorrow to assess waterline issues, taxiways and runway conditions as well as fueling equipment. We will hopefully return to regular business on Friday, January 30th pending no unexpected issues with water to the terminal or our fueling equipment. We will update again after our assessment tomorrow. The safety of our employees and patrons is of utmost importance to us. We are Thankful for your patience during this trying time.
