I use my connections with hotel brands worldwide to maximize my clients' trips for free. Sound too good to be true? It's not. Hotels pay me a commission, just like they do for Expedia and the other booking sites you're probably using. The difference is that sites like those charge hotels huge fees for sending them clients, think 20%+. When you book through these sites, and something goes wrong, you wait on hold or beg the person at the front desk to help you. You are not a profitable guest at the hotel, and you feel it in the way you're treated -- think about it this way, you're at the bottom of the totem pole in terms of desirability to the hotel.

Hotels like working with travel agents because we know how to set expectations and solve problems without taking time from their already hard-working staff. We don't argue with the person at the reception desk; we call the sales manager or the GM. We (LuxRally Travel) also have a reputation for sending high-quality guests who spend, on average more on spa, dining, and other on-site services. This means you get treated better just by association with our travel agency. When you book through an online travel site, you get lumped in with millions of people who are extremely price sensitive.
