Spring break, but make it tulips, castles, fast cars, and pretzels. 🌷✨

We had a wonderful trip to Amsterdam + Germany with our teens for a little family adventure through some of Europe’s greatest hits. Think canal cruises, Keukenhof blooms, storybook towns, Nürburgring thrills, castle views, BMW + Porsche stops, and all the schnitzel/pastries we can fit in between.

A mix of culture, fun, and memory-making with the people I love most. My favorite kind of trip.

And if planning something like this feels overwhelming, this is exactly where I love to help - creating custom trips that feel seamless, personal, and genuinely fun. 🤍

We flew nonstop from Los Angeles to Papeete on (about 8 hours) — and honestly, the vacation mood starts the second you step on board. By the time you land, you’re already halfway into island time.

We explored Tahiti, Taha’a, and Bora Bora — three islands, three completely different personalities, all ridiculously beautiful.

Picture this: warm turquoise lagoons that don’t look real, just-caught fish on your plate, technicolor sea life under your bungalow, and mornings where your biggest decision is coffee first… or lagoon swim first. The hospitality is heartfelt, the pace is slower, and your nervous system quietly says, “thank you.”

A few insider notes: we traveled during rainy season (which means fewer crowds and better value - yes please - but warmer). The sun is strong, island hopping requires planes and boat transfers (logistics matter!), and food and beverages reflect remote island life. Bring reef-safe sunscreen and a little cash - both local currency and USD are helpful.

When everything is coordinated well, it feels effortless. And that’s when French Polynesia truly shines.

If this destination has been lingering on your list, now is a beautiful time - there’s a fantastic promotion available for travel through April 1, 2027 at these same properties.

Let’s design it thoughtfully - the right island mix, the right timing, and the kind of overwater morning you’ll never forget.

Crazy drive from lunch restaurant back to Anacapri. Definitely worth it! But don’t try to drive yourself 🙃

📍Cusco, Peru 🇵🇪

Woke up in Cusco to an incredible breakfast and warm hospitality at - a former Augustine monastery with Inca ruins right on-site and just a 5 min walk from the main square. We even got to meet Panchita, their baby alpaca mascot!

From exploring Saqsaywaman Fortress and walking with llamas to a Kintu ritual and blessing with a shaman, a private toast in a bell tower overlooking the city and an operatic dinner at - Cusco was full of unforgettable moments and a perfect place to finish our journey. We ended our time with a high-altitude hike at Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain (17,000 ft!) and a “pinch-me” farewell dinner surrounded by Incan treasures in a private room at the MAP Museum.

Peru truly has it all - food, culture, history, adventure, sweeping vistas, incredible people, beautiful textiles, furry new friends... and so much more.

I work with the best local teams to help you go beyond the guidebook. If Peru is calling you, I’d love to help you turn it into the trip of your dreams ✨

📍 Machu Picchu 🇵🇪⛰️🦙

Getting to this Wonder of the World takes a bit of effort, but it’s absolutely worth it. We were up early for a transfer to Ollantaytambo, then boarded the Inca Rail for a scenic 1.5-hour ride to Aguas Calientes. From there, a short (and winding!) bus ride takes you the final stretch up the mountain to Machu Picchu.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu is just as magical as you’d hope. The setting is jaw-dropping - an ancient Incan city nestled in the Andes, built in perfect harmony with the landscape - and built by hand, with no modern tools! While the Inca people are no longer here, the beauty and mystery (and llamas!) remain.

We spent the morning taking it all in before heading back down for an exceptional lunch at , a beautiful property that also makes a wonderful base for exploring the area. Then it was back in the train and off to Cusco - where we checked into the gorgeous for the final stretch of our adventure.

If Machu Picchu is on your list, we can take care of all the logistics - entry tickets, train and bus transportation, and the best routes through the site to make the most of your visit. It’s important to plan early as daily isitors are limited and tickets book up quickly.

Sacred Valley, Peru 🇵🇪

It’s hard to pick favorites from such an extraordinary journey, but our time in the Sacred Valley truly left a mark. Nestled deep in the Andes, this region is rich in culture, breathtaking beauty, and soulful hospitality.

After a scenic flight into Cusco, we were warmly welcomed by the incredible team (complete with coca tea to ease the altitude). Our first stop: Hacienda Sarapampa, a working corn farm that offered so much more than a tour. We learned about the cultivation of Cusco’s famous giant white corn — yes, the kind used in Trader Joe’s Peruvian corn snacks!

We dined alfresco with a 7-course tasting menu, a harpist playing in the background, and views that felt like a dream. Even more meaningful? The owner, a third-generation steward of the land, employs over 150 locals during harvest — a true blend of tradition and community impact.

We stayed at the magical , a property full of soul, charm, and warmth. With just 43 casitas, it felt intimate yet expansive. The spirit of the Incas is alive here — and the social mission behind the Sol y Luna Foundation, supporting local children, made it all even more special.

This wasn’t just a stop along the way — it was a heart-filling experience I won’t forget.

Sacred Valley, Peru (part 2) 🇵🇪

We began the day at the farm of - a visionary agronomist revolutionizing the way we think about potatoes. Alongside his brother Elmer, Manuel has pioneered the natural genetic improvement of native potatoes, enhancing not just taste but also nutritional value. Think antioxidants, vitamins… and even potato wine (yes, it’s a thing — and yes, it’s amazing). His innovations are gaining global recognition - keep an eye out for him on Netflix and National Geographic. He’s truly changing the world from the ground up.

Next stop: the ancient Maras Salt Mines, a site that dates back to pre-Incan times and still produces some of the most prized salts in the world. We took in the stunning views over a delicious lunch at UNU restaurant before heading back to the beautiful .

There, we saddled up for a horseback ride through the town of Urubamba, followed by a heartwarming visit to the Sol y Luna Home - an orphanage supporting children from ages 3 to 20. Meeting these incredible kids was deeply moving. Their energy, resilience, and joy were a powerful reminder of what truly matters.

We ended the day with a lovely dinner under the Sacred Valley sky, holding these moments - and this place - close to our hearts. ❤️

PERU: Lima

I kicked off my journey with my amazing partner Andean Lux in the vibrant capital of Lima - home to 11 million people and a buzzing mix of culture, color, and cuisine.

We stayed at the charming and beautiful Hotel B(Relais & Châteaux) in Barranco, Lima’s artsy, bohemian district. This 1914 mansion-turned-boutique hotel is as much a gallery as it is a getaway.

Our first day was full of highlights:
🎨 Meeting Victor Delfín, the legendary 97-year-old artist, in his own home was emotional and unforgettable.
🖌️ Visiting the powerful, modern works of Jade Riviera.
🍽️ Dining at Maido - ranked the #5 restaurant in the world where we enjoyed a private 14-course tasting menu and perfectly paired Pisco sours.
🏺 Wrapping up at Museo Larco, where our incredible guide brought Peru’s ancient cultures to life.

24 hours wasn’t nearly enough. Lima, I’ll be back.
