We flew nonstop from Los Angeles to Papeete on (about 8 hours) — and honestly, the vacation mood starts the second you step on board. By the time you land, you’re already halfway into island time.
We explored Tahiti, Taha’a, and Bora Bora — three islands, three completely different personalities, all ridiculously beautiful.
Picture this: warm turquoise lagoons that don’t look real, just-caught fish on your plate, technicolor sea life under your bungalow, and mornings where your biggest decision is coffee first… or lagoon swim first. A few insider notes: we traveled during rainy season (which means fewer crowds and better value - yes please - but warmer).
