Happy National Boss's Day to the owners of UP Boxed!

We want to take a moment to recognize the amazing owners, Alan and Amanda, and thank them for everything they do!
Running a small business takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and heart, and we're so grateful for the time and effort they put into making UP Boxed what it is.

📦 For our Vinted sellers:
When shipping out items, please make sure you're using the right packaging for your shipping method.

USPS Priority Mail boxes, envelopes, and padded mailers are specifically intended for Priority Mail shipments. They shouldn't be reused for Vinted orders being sent through another service, such as USPS Ground Advantage, UPS, or FedEx.

Why does it matter? If a package is shipped in Priority Mail packaging but isn't actually being sent as Priority Mail, the recipient can be charged the postage difference before the package can be delivered.
There have also been reports of Vinted sellers having their accounts banned after sending packages shipped this way, so it's something both buyers and sellers should be aware of.

💡 The easy solution: Use a plain box, poly mailer, or other non-Priority packaging when your Vinted shipping label isn't for Priority Mail.
It only takes an extra second to check the packaging, and it can help prevent an unexpected charge or headache for the buyer.

Can you believe it?!
Up Boxed participated in the One Too Many 5k in Homer today, and received a raffle ticket with the last four digits of 3924 (our store address is 3924 State Route 281 in Cortland). We thought that was pretty cool, but then we also WON on that same ticket! We guess Up Boxed is exactly where it is supposed to be!! What are the odds!?

Edit: we didn’t notice this until just now but even the first 3 numbers are 281! Even crazier
