ONCE WE HAVE OUR SETUP BACK UP IN OUR NEW HOUSE WE WILL START PICKUP AND TRANSPORT AGAIN MOSTLY IN PIERCE, KING, CLOSE SURROUNDING COUNTIES AND TOWNS AGAIN. BABY SEASON IS APON US SOON!

UPDATE on Douglas squirrel from last year. He recovered like a champ! He ended up having necrotic flesh on his nose and a scab completely around his sc***um. The scab fell off and heal just fine but he lost his nose. He is very happy but unreleasable. He's a fat happy old man that will live out his life in the amazing care of a rehabber❤️

Sorry I didn't post before but now it's baby season again I was fixing this page and thought to do so.

This is the cottontail before about a week after she was caught and brought home by cat, with NO dwn or nest found. Bunnies are the MOST difficult to bottle feed and wean. They are extremely delicate and require millions of beneficial bacteria when they start solid food that they normal get from eating their moms dark droppings.

This is Lamb Sauce and Gordon, Domestic geese dumped in a neighborhood fenced in overflow. This is when we first got them. Since they are not wild they will stay with us forever!

Cottontail bunny that was able to be on its own but a well meaning person brought her in because she thought the bunny was going to get eaten. At this age they leave the den to explore and forage and then return at night to cuddle up with what siblings are still sleeping in the den too. Leave these guys alone unless they are hurt. Bunny moms milk is so fatty that she feeds only 2x a day .... Usually at dusk and dawn. So it is not unusual for baby bunnies to be on their own for hours at a time from a very very young age all together in their nest.
